A salute to God

"In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."

So that threw us last night when Abby pulled that one out of the air before bed. She was really learning something at school in two 1/2 day sessions.

But what I loved the most was that instead of touching her head to start the sign of the cross, she actually saluted. Like God is the head of the armed forces.

It is cute when they learn that.

My oldest is in second grade and is starting rel. edu. for her First Communion. It's very cute when they come home with new things they learn.

You have uniforms for kindergarten? My girl's school doesn't start uniforms until first grade. But it makes life so much easier in the morning!

We have sweatpants and shorts in kindergarten, which seems to be the norm these days. Her school just started it's kindergarten program 3 years ago so I think they took the lead from other Catholic Schools. She loves every moment there, which makes my heart skip with joy.
